Mellanox was established in 1999 by Eyal Waldman, Shay Cohen, Michael Kagan, Roni Ashuri, Evelyn Landman, Eitan Zahavi, Shimon Rottenberg, Udi Katz and Alon Webman. In 2011, Mellanox acquired Voltaire, which supplies communication networks and computer network solutions for data centers. The merger between Mellanox and Voltaire created a leading supplier of diverse interconnect solutions. In 2016, Mellanox acquired the Israeli chip company EZchip, which develops and markets chips for communication network routers. The merger has led to the creation of smarter and more advanced solutions for the company’s customers.
